Hey folks, first of all thanx for visiting this blog. This blog is a place for me to put all things in my head, something that maybe interesting for you or something that is not interesting at all. In the other hand, this is just my personal journal of life.... about what I have been through....and about something I wanna write.
Yeah, setelah merasa jenuh dan muak dengan kualitas tulisan beberapa media yang cenderung cuma meng-ekspos kriminalitas, gosip rumah tangga "selebritis" kacangan, dll. Akhirnya saya memutuskan untuk menulis dan menulis. Apakah kualitas tulisan saya sama dengan kualitas media tersebut? anda lah yang menilainya. Setidaknya saya sudah berusaha untuk menulis!

Rufio At Hard Rock Café Bali
So, what do you think you gonna do if a band that you been watch only on a DVD or on a low-quality-copied VCD for years before the inventing of cheap internet and youtube for sure…will come to your town…? Haha..there’s nothing more interesting than that…..
Alrite, Rufio is a band that I have been listened to since 2002. First time I heard about their music was from a compilation CD released by Side One Dummy Records. Stoked by their music, I started searching for their album and the first album was “1985” released by Nitro Records that owned by Dexter Holland of the Offspring, as a punk rocker that live in Indonesia of course this album is not an original album. Man, its not even release here…none of my favorite bands! “1985” was their 2nd album, with help of a friend who had an internet connection at his house so I can get their first album “perhaps, I suppose..” released by The Militia Group in 2001. and then I’ve got their last album: Comfort of Home released by Nitro Records in 2005. this is the last band's album, before the band broke up in….
Then in …. The band announce on their myspace page that they will doing some reunion tour across the world starting from South America.
And finally , on June 2008 I heard a rumours about their tour will hit Indonesia, Jakarta for sure..whew…I swallowing my drool when I heard about that, and start crossing my fingers..hoping they will drop by in Bali just like NOFX did last year….
I have lost lots of change to watch my favorite bands, because they only play in Jakarta.

The news about Rufio is coming to Indonesia is getting stronger, a friend of mine from Jakarta send me a message on Yahoo Messenger: Rufio Jakarta 18 July, Hard Rock Café Bali 21 July.
I was like?? Wtf? Is this real? I’m asking him? “Are you sure they will come to Bali?” the answer was like: “ I dunno man, I just forward this message to you, cuz I know you like them!” whoa..man…since then I start looking for information if this is real! I ask my friend who use to work as a AE at Hard Rock Radio, I ask Jerinx too..none of them give me a specific answer…fuck..fuck..fuck…
Until one day…on the way to Buleleng with the Suicide Glam family, I was on the same car with Dethu. He said: “I got assignment/job to handle Rufio to play in Bali”….whoa…I said: “oh ok, if you need a liaison officer, please let me know..I don’t care about how much I’m gonna get paid!”
The next day, Dethu start asking what kind of band is Rufio? I said “Rufio is a Californian based punk band…well you know Californian punk, a melodicpunk band…should I describe more?” and then he laughing and then jumping imitating the style melodicpunker jumping with their guitar...hahaahaha…
That time I was not thinking about how much is the ticket gonna be, the only think in my mind was Rufio..Rufio…
15 days before the show, I got an sms from Dethu: Psychofun opening act for Rufio, fee Rp.xxxx…ok? that time I was driving my bike on the street, when I was on a traffic light and read the message!! Without thinking about how much Psychofun gonna get paid on that show, I’m just reply: “yes!” at home I read the sms several time, just to make sure this is real and the forwarded the sms from Dethu to all Psychofun band member.
All of the band member and my associate manager in the band; Yudis are amazed..haha..yeah.

PSYCHOFUN
Psychofun band pop punk asal Bali yang terbentuk sejak tahun 1997 ini, akhirnya berhasil mengeluarkan album nya yang ke 3 dengan title:”Cerita Dunia”.4 tahun bukanlah jarak yang pendek, mengingat album ke 2 Psychofun di rilis tahun 2004 oleh Electrohell Records. Karena mengalami banyak perubahan baik itu dari perubahan personil, idealisme bermusik, juga arrangement musik, ternyata cukup menyita waktu yang panjang bagi Psychofun untuk mengeluarkan album ke 3 ini. Dengan judul single yang sama dengan title albumnya,yaitu Cerita Dunia, Psychofun berusaha memberikan angin segar di blantika musik indie bali khususnya dan Indonesia pada umumnya. Terdengar cukup menyegarkan, karena dalam album ini Psychofun mencoba untuk mencampur adukan beberapa genre genre musik,seperti Punk Rock,Metal,Alternative,Pop,Indie Rock,Power Pop,dan lain lain.
Karena ingin tetap berada di jalur indie, Psychofun memutuskan untuk memproduseri albumnya sendiri, tanpa terikat dengan record label lain. Di dalam album Cerita Dunia ini, berisikan 15 track yang 2 diantaranya berformat acoustic, Track List Album Sebagai Berikut : Mendadak Metal(intro), When The Sun Goes Down, Cerita Dunia, Sesal, You Never Know, Radio, Untuk Sahabat, Glory, Rasa, Take Me Away, Jangan Menyerah, Semu, Pulau Surga,Terbang, Aura(outro). Berbeda dengan album sebelumnya,Album ini mayoritas berbahasa Indonesia , dengan arrangement yang jauh berbeda dari album sebelumnya.
Psychofun yang pada awal mulanya terdiri dari 4 orang personil, kini akhirnya digawangi oleh 6 orang personil, dengan personil tetap: Gapz (voc), Gung De (gtr/keyboard/voc), Tonki (gtr/voc), Adjie (bass), Metal (drum/percussion), Dj Wiwin (Dj/synth/sampler).
Berusaha untuk tetap eksis di jalurnya, dan dalam rangka promo album “Cerita Dunia”, Psychofun akan mengadakan launching album dan promo tour yang akan kami beritakan dalam waktu dekat ini.

Ah yeah, happy new year everyone!!!
Hmm, so many things happen last year. Good things & bad things…..its just part of the life like it or not……
This writing is just a reflection of what happen last year…..or just another sick muse of mine……..
Hahahaha, start the year of 2007 with puke on the table somewhere in legian street….(jerinx…I don't wanna drink that tequila again). Went home drunk by motorbike with blur vision….geez I won't let it happen again…..
OK start with,
Job:
Settle my own company: Mirth manufacturing. Got more clients to manufacture tapes & CD. Expanse more market overseas, thanx to Jon from 7 Crowns for this ability.
Local's market? Hook up with the local's rockers, helping those bands to manufacture their tapes with reasonable-affordable price. With 500 copies of minimum order and reciprocal advantage, so they can have an album to distribute.
I'm also prints some banners,name cards & stickers for some companies.
And for sure as a stores manager for Suicide Glam, Dethu I learn bunch of things from you. Thanx for the chance!

hahha, 2007 sucks! Been somersaults, broken hearted-desperate-almost lost my spirit…2 times in a year…the first one was really bad…..its hurt so bad, I owe apologies to my mom, my friends at Suicide Glam. And then, she was back to me again for couple of months. And then, she dumped me again, geez….but this time I'm doing just fine.
A little crack, but I'm not broken-Bad Religion.
Musical Jobs:
Five years working for the biggest punk rock band in Bali; Superman Is Dead. I was start in 2002 as Drum Crew for Jerinx, and then Head Crew and General Affair in 2004. and then as the Road Manager and Merchandiser from 2005. In 2007 the band change their management from Glampunkabilly Inferno to Outsider Inc, so as part of the old management I'm also resign from SID. Bobby, Eka, Jerinx thank you for the rocking years! Lots of things we have been through, my first flight with airplanes, travel to many cities in Indonesia….last but not least, a true friendship!
Ohya, I used to manage another best band from Bali; Psychofun. Yep, start as their manager from 2004. I resign on April 2007. Gpnx, Metal, Oka, Agung. Thanx for everything, free stuff from: Rizt, Electrohell, Atticus, Macbeth, Gravis. Hahhahaha, you guys are the "billboard" rockers….and least the experience of being a rock band manager.
Oh yeah, life is not complete with out any music spinning, here are bands that rock my 2007 :
